The Ross family papers of deeds, correspondence, and sundry material on Pictou County include documents relating to the Primrose family, James D.F. Fraser and other individuals. An anonymous handwritten manuscript has recipes for cakes, puddings, custards, pineapple trifle, sauces, salad dressing and pickles. This document has recipes for preserving/tinning salmon and lobster.
