Tangier Parish (Anglican) was separated from Ship Harbour Parish in 1883, with Holy Trinity (opened 1865) as the parish church.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1882-1963; marriage registers, 1882-1943; burial registers, 1882-1978; and confirmation registers, 1914-1939. Besides Tangier, includes registrations for inhabitants of Little Harbour, Moose River, Mooseland, Murphy Cove, Mushaboom, Popes Harbour, Sheet Harbour, Ship Harbour, Shoal Bay (Pleasant Harbour), Spry Bay, Spry Harbour, and Tangier.
