Seaforth Parish (Anglican), originally known as Three Fathom Harbour Parish, was separated from Christ Church Parish, Dartmouth, in 1866. Saint James', Seaforth, (consecrated 1840) was the parish church.
Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1865-1939; marriage registers, 1865-1945; burial registers, 1865-1940; and confirmation registers, 1925-1943. Besides Seaforth, includes registrations for inhabitants of Chezzetcook, Grand Desert, Lawrencetown, Mineville, Musquodoboit Harbour, Petpeswick, Porters Lake, Salmon Hole, and Three Fathom Harbour.
