Parrsboro Parish (Anglican) originated with a mission established in 1786; Saint George's (consecrated 1794) became the parish church.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1787-1972; marriage registers, 1787-1971; burial registers, 1787-1966; confirmation registers, 1852-1972; minutes of parish and vestry meetings, 1872-1957; financial and property records, 1790-1971; parish history and reference materials, ca. 1920-1970; and minute books of parish societies, 1895-1914. Besides Parrsboro, includes registrations for inhabitants of Diligent River, Lakelands, Moose River, and Port Greville.
