Lunenburg Parish (Anglican) was established in 1787, with Saint John's (opened 1754) as the parish church.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1752-1911; marriage registers, 1752-1942; burial registers, 1752-1905; and minutes of parish and vestry meetings, 1813-1851. Besides Lunenburg, includes registrations for inhabitants of Blue Rocks, Conquerall, Cross Island, First Peninsula, LaHave, Mahone Bay, Martins River, New Dublin, New Germany, Petite Riviere, Tancook and elsewhere.

Records were borrowed for microfilming in 1965 and 1976.
