Falkland Parish (Anglican) : 1877-1977. — Microfilmed 1977. — 1 of microfilm reel.

Falkland Mission (Anglican) was established in the early 1840s and became Falkland Parish in 1884. Saint James' Church, Herring Cove, (built late 1870s) was the parish church. Until 1977, the Diocese of Nova Scotia referred to the parish as Herring Cove Parish, but the name was not widely used.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1877-1969; marriage registers, 1885-1977; burial registers, 1889-1977; confirmation registers, 1896-1970; minutes of parish and vestry meetings, 1913-1977; and minutes of congregational meetings, 1919-1945. In addition to Herring Cove, includes registrations for inhabitants of Camperdown, Connaught Battery, Fergusons Cove, Portuguese Cove, Purcells Cove, Sambro, Sandwich Battery, and Spryfield.
