Queensport Parish was erected in 1905 and the parish church, Christ Church, Queensport, was dedicated in 1942. In 1950, Queensport Parish was divided, with part forming Halfway Cove Parish and the remainder uniting with Canso Parish to form Canso and Queensport Parish.
Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1905-1942; marriage registers, 1905-1942; burial registers, 1906-1942; confirmation registers, 1928-1934; and service registers, 1929-1950. In addition to Queensport, includes registrations for Cole Harbour, Dorts Cove, Lamb Point, Pease Brook, Tor Bay, and Whitehead. Fonds also includes birth, marriage, and death registers for Saint James' mission station, Halfway Cove, 1880-1905.
