Hackett's Cove Parish (Anglican) was established in 1895, with Saint Peter's as the parish church, when Saint Margaret's Bay Parish was divided into two smaller parishes. After 1908, the parish became known as Indian Harbour Parish. In 1989, the name of the parish was changed to Hackett's Cove Parish.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1896-1973; marriage registers, 1896-1990; burial registers, 1896-1998; confirmation registers, 1909-1988; minutes of parish and vestry meetings, 1895-1960; and minutes of congregational meetings, 1895-1973. Besides Hacketts Cove, includes registrations for inhabitants of Indian Harbour, Peggys Cove, and West Dover.
