Maitland Parish (Anglican) : 1855-1971. — Microfilmed 1961-1971. — 4 of microfilm reels.

The Parish of Saint John the Baptist (Anglican), Lattie's Brook, also known as Douglas Parish, was established in 1858. After 1866, it became known as Maitland Parish, with Holy Trinity, Maitland, eventually becoming the parish church.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1855-1969; marriage registers, 1856-1970; burial registers, 1860-1971; confirmation registers, 1918-1970; minutes of parish and vestry meetings, 1855-1954; minutes of congregational meetings, 1855-1951; parish history and reference materials, 1918-1951; and service registers, 1855-1962. Includes registrations for inhabitants of Five Mile River, Georgefield, Indian Road, Kennetcook, and Northfield. Fonds includes baptismal register, 1860-1892, and marriage register, 1866-1892, kept at Saint Thomas' Church, McPhee Corner.
