Horton Parish (Anglican) was separated from Cornwallis Parish in 1876, with Saint John's, Wolfville, (built 1818) as the parish church.

Fonds consists of baptismal registers, 1823-1877; minutes of parish and vestry meetings, 1945-1970; and parish reference materials, 1970. Also includes baptismal registers, 1855-1888, kept at Saint James' Church, Kentville, which was part of Horton Parish from 1876 to 1893.
