Vol. 213 papers relate to the Dykes of Kings County, but particularly to the building of the famous Wellington Dyke which was started on June 27, 1809 and not finished until 1826 - it was washed out during the fire in 1822 and rebuilt. The entire history of this is to be found in these papers. No. 1 Petition from owners of the Habitant Dyke to have repairs made on the aboiteau
