The Charitable Irish Society of Halifax, Nova Scotia

The banquet for the Aberdeens was held in the Halifax Hotel on 7 August 1894. The Nova Scotia coat of arms, the North British Society banner, the Charitable Irish Society's banner, and another banner bearing the words "A hearty welcome from the sons of St. Andrew's, St. Patrick's, St. George's" were suspended from the walls of the dining-room. The tables were decorated with plants and flowers.
