Field stone (slate) — romanesque shape. The entire inscription is placed at top of stone and carved in relief with the date written out in letters. One large cross and a smaller cross in relief — in French — Ici repose le corps de Charlotte Deveau épouse de Marc SONIER décédée le neuf aout mil huit cent cinquante cinq âgée de quarante et un ans. (inscription written in capital letters without accents, but all the agreements are made) [1855]
