Petition of Archibald Gray and the other Commissioners of the Poor for Halifax, stating the decrease and finally the stopping of the revenue whereby the poor were cared for, due to a change in the Act which provided for the poor by imposing certain duties on imports, and asking for some allowance. Signed by 11 persons.
