Certificate of Ned, his wife and family as "free Negroes", 19 November 1779; passport of Ned, his wife and children, 14 October 1782

The certificate describes Ned and his family as "free Negroes and friends to his Majesty." The passport authorizes them to go to "York [Toronto], Halifax, or elsewhere at their option."
