''Mary David born August 9, 1866, great-grandaughter of Samuel Johnson, granddaughter of Pompey Johnson and daughter of Ellen Clark, taken at Five Mile Plains, October 15, 1951''

Mary David's great-grandfather, Samuel Johnson, was an original settler of Five Mile Plains. He was a refugee of the War of 1812 and came to Nova Scotia in 1815.
