The River is hereby raised about nineteen inches above the ordinary hight, and causes the flooding of a piece of meadow land situate about thirty rods higher up the river, and being part of the Indian Reserve.
I find however that the dam has been somewhat lowered so that the overflow does not now appear to be so great as it was about three months previous when I had occasion - in making a survey - to examine the premises in question. The mill was then in full operation and the meadow partially overflowed caused by the back water from said dam.
I am your obedt servant W.A. Hendry Surveyor
John Spry Morris Esqr.
