"Civic Luncheon at the Lord Nelson Hotel at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 8th, 1951. Hon. R.H. Winters, Federal Minister of Resources and Development, presented the Princess Elizabeth with a delicate stone carving of an Eskimo woman and child, the gift of the Eskimo people of Canada."
