IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Sarah JaneMacLean
Born at New Glasgow in the County of Pictou
That Sarah JaneMacLean Whose Birth is sought to be registered was
born at New Glasgow Pictou County on August 4, 1924
My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:
Margaret Elida MacLean is the mother of Sarah Jane MacLean who was born at home, 122 Ellis Street, New Glasgow, N.S. on August 4, 1924. The late Dr. V.H.T. Parker was the attending physician and a neighbour, Mrs. John Wesley of Balfour Street, New Glasgow, N.S. assisted at the birth. Baptism Certificate for Sarah Jane MacLean is incorrect where it shows Place of Birth as Stellarton, NS, and Abode as Stellarton, NS. Both entries should read New Glasgow, N.S.
Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
