That Shirley MarieLeslie Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at Eagle Head Queens County on August 14, 1923

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

Namely, information that I received from parents when I was young and from my sister, Gladys Irene Nickerson, and from an inspection of the statistics Canada records and from my certificate of baptism, which I have obtained from Nova Scotia and I have always been told that my birthdate was as above noted. There appears to be one error in the census record in that it shows my age as 8 on June 1, 1931, whereas at that time, I would have been 7 years old (until August 14th) and I have never heard it suggested that I was born in 1922.
