AFFIDAVIT

IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Vincent LawsonHennessey

Born at Halifax in the County of Halifax

That Vincent LawsonHennessey Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at Halifax Halifax County on August 5, 1923

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

That in the lifetime of my former husband, A. R. McIsaac, we resided at Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and the said child, vincent Lawson Hennessey, was placed with us on January 29, 1927 by the Home of the Guardian Angel, 395 Brunswick Street, Halifax, NS and that we brought him up as our own child and he was commonly known by the name of "Vincent Lawson McIsaac", but we did not take any steps to adopt the said child; and that herewith attached and marked Exhibit "A" to this my declaration is an original certificate signed by Sister Mary Clare, Superintendent of the Home of the Guardian Angel and sealed with their official seal, setting out the facts.

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
