I was told by my parents that I was born at Sydney on July 28, 1922 and throughout my lifetime I have celebrated my birthday on that date. Baptismal certificate issued out of the Parish of the Holy Redeemer, Whitney Pier, Sydney on October 24, 1940 indicates my date of birth as July 28, 1922.
