My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

I Dolly Mattinson am an elder sister of the applicant. I was married living in Oxford at the time. Dr. J.W. Gilroy was the attending doctor. The applicant was born on upper Water Street. I, Hilda Ruston am an elder sister of the applicant and was 15 years of age living at home at the time and helped my mother at the time of the said birth. We both say that the applicants birthday has alway been celebrated on the 4th day of February.
