AFFIDAVIT

IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of John JosephMacNeil

Born at Sydney in the County of Cape Breton

That John JosephMacNeil Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at Sydney Cape Breton County on February 18, 1921

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

I have always accepted Feb 18, 1921 as the date of my birth because my father and mother told me so. I have used the above date all of my lifetime as the date of my birth. I have used the date for school purposes, my confirmation, all employment records etc. Also my war service and everything relevant to my records.

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
