I have known John J. MacDonald for about ten years. I also know his mother, Mrs. Christina MacDonald. I have examined family records and school records at the City of Sydney (see attached certification). From these records and from the statements made to me by Mr. MacDonald and his mother, I believe that the date of his birth is September 12, 1921.
