AFFIDAVIT

IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of John ThurlowMcDonald

Born at Glace Bay in the County of Cape Breton

That John ThurlowMcDonald Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at Glace Bay Cape Breton County on June 17, 1921

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

I am his older sister. Our family always celebrated his birthday on 17 June. We were living in Glace Bay when he was born. The baptismal record in the church (St. Mary's In Glace Bay) indicates the date of birth. His school record where he first entered school indicates place and data of birth.

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
