IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Joseph AnthonyKennedy

Born at Sydney in the County of Cape Breton

That Joseph AnthonyKennedy Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at Sydney Cape Breton County on January 24, 1921

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

When this child was six months old, I took him as an adopted child from the Saint Marys Home, Sydney, in the County of Cape Breton and received the Certificate of Baptism covering the same child, which Certificate is attached herewith. That I am satisfied that the Joseph Anthony MacGillivray that I obtained from the Saint Marys Home and the Joseph Anthony MacGillivray disclosed on the Certificate of Baptism are one and the same person.

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
