IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Frederick AlexanderThompson
Born at Maccan in the County of Cumberland
That Frederick AlexanderThompson Whose Birth is sought to be registered was
born at Maccan Cumberland County on February 16, 1920
My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:
My mother died on February 16, 1923 adn I never knew my father. My foster family always told me that my date of birth was February 16, 1920. I was discharged from the Canadian Army October 25, 1945, having joined May 3, 1941. At that time the Army accepted my declaration as to the date and place of my birth. I held a Canadian Passport number 18173-1 which expired July 19, 1948. Attached a photocopy of Discharge & 2 pages of Passport. I also enclose a hand-written death notice for my mother.
Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
