AFFIDAVIT

IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Basil CharlesDeamond

Born at Simpsons Corner in the County of Lunenburg

That Basil CharlesDeamond Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at Simpsons Corner Lunenburg County on August 12, 1920

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

I am his mother. I brought him up. I recall specifically that he was born in 1920 because my 15 month old son, Guy Deamond, died of influenza and pneumonia in March 1920 - a victim of the influenza pandemic of that time. I was pregnant with Basil Charles Deamond when Guy died. I can remember he was born on August 12. Also we always celebrated his birthday on August 12. Finally he was slightly more than three years younger than my daughter, Ruth Deamond (born April 15, 1917) and slightly less than three years older than my daughter, Edith Deamond, born June 19, 1923.

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
