AFFIDAVIT

IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of HarryMcDonald

Born at North Sydney in the County of Cape Breton

That HarryMcDonald Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at North Sydney Cape Breton County on August 2, 1920

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

I have known Harry for 20 years, for 13 years as his daughter-in-law. "I knew his mother before her death." I have seen the affidavit filled out by them in 1941. He moved to Hamilton at age 7 (1927), joined the RCAF in 1941, and was married March 9, 1942 (age 21). He was 24 years old when his 1st son was born (August 1944) and 25 when his 2nd son was born (January 1946). I have communicated with his living relatives and declare these dates to be true. - Irene McDonald

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
