AFFIDAVIT

IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Bertha Catherine Kearley

Born at New Glasgow in the County of Pictou

That Bertha Catherine Kearley Whose Birth is sought to be registered was

born at New Glasgow Pictou County on May 6, 1920

My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:

I am the lawful brother of Berths Catherine Kearley and am 13 years older than my sister. I recall her being born at the family home in Parkdale, Pictou County, as I was home when she was born and Dr. Hector MacKay was the doctor in attendance. I remember the birthdate as May 6, 1920 and celebrated her birthday on this date for some years until our family was split up. She was the fifth and last child in the family to be born. I further confirm that Parkdale is within the limits of the town of New Glasgow, County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia.

Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
