AFFIDAVIT
IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of Sarah CatherineMcLean
Born at Lowland Cove in the County of Inverness
That Sarah CatherineMcLean Whose Birth is sought to be registered was
born at Lowland Cove Inverness County on April 8, 1920
My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:
That we lived in a very sparsely settled arm of Inverness County - at the extreme tip of Cape Breton Island. I am the older sister of the applicant by 8 years and our family was a close knit one - with all fifteen children of Donald S. and Sarah Jane McLean being born in the family home. I remember very clearly when Sarah Catherine McLean was born - I being 8 years of age at the time of her birth. - Julia E. LeBlanc
Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
