AFFIDAVIT
IN THE MATTER of the application for the Registration of the Birth of ColumbaMacKinnon
Born at Upper Washabuck in the County of Victoria
That ColumbaMacKinnon Whose Birth is sought to be registered was
born at Upper Washabuck Victoria County on November 22, 1920
My knowledge of the fact and date of such Birth is based on the following Circumstances:
I am enclosing a Certificate of Baptism taken from the same parish record of which I was Baptised today by Fr. Dennis Campbell, Iona PP, so he said it was certainly what we had to go by, as all the births as that time took place in the Parish Church. He was the youngest of 19 children born to Mr. & Mrs. Daniel MacKinnon, who used to live at Upper Washabuck, but in May of 1918 moved to Cain's Mountain, 6 miles away.
Keyword Search looks for the "term" (one word or number works best) you type throughout the whole record. It is less accurate than the advanced search but it does let you search for age, religion, mother's maiden name, etc. if transcribed.
