Translate is an opportunity for educators and learners to practice language skills in a wipe board-style space. Working at their own pace, skill and comfort level, users can translate archival documents into the language of their choice.
Nova Scotia Archives has provided key documents from the collections, including a text transcription from the cursive original. The adjacent wipe board space is for people, as individuals or groups, to use as a translation workspace. Completed work can be printed or saved to a personal device, but nothing will be saved to the site – like a wipe board, it will be wiped clean for the next user.
