On photograph envelope: "Postcard photograph of Elizabeth wife [crossed out] daughter [crossed out] of 'Dr.' Jeremiah Lonecloud, medicine man of the Micmac tribe." Added: "This is probably Annie Gloade, Lonecloud's mistress, according to information supplied July, 1982 by Ruth Whitehead of N.S.
