Recital of my Present State, being as much as formerly
represented, only that the further I advance in years I
experimentally feel the weight of the Groups that
attend them, and therefore as I confide [entirely] in your
friendship I doubt not the continuance of indulgence
[especially] while not in prejudice to the Service, and
please accept of my congratulating Your Excellency
upon the Great and Glorious Successes of His Majesty's
Arms to which at present I shall only add that I am
with great respect.

May it Please Your Excellency
Your Excellency's
Most Obliged and
Most Obedient Humble Servant

PS
The duplicates of the
Effective Lists from August to
the 24th of Oct. being forwarded to
me, I herewith send them to Your
Excellency as I shall the others above
mentioned if I be not disappointed
as afore said.
