C.E. Leonard and others to the Provincial Secretary; 10 October 1843, Sydney, CB, 4 pp. Bound from Dublin to Quebec, the vessel was wrecked in a violent storm between Cape North and Cheticamp. This is a description of a horrific tale of the survivors who walked through the forest for days, living on wild fruit, until they reached Aspy Bay.
