Taken at Admiralty House, Halifax, NS. Flag Lieut. Cecil Holstead France-Hayhurst, married Gertrude Isabel Douglas, daughter of Admiral Sir Archibald and Lady Douglas, 19 November 1903. The Acadian Recorder called it a "Brillant Naval Event" and reported the same day great details of the wedding, with lists of guests and gifts.
