Consulate certificate for the Port of New York issued to Nicholas Power
Nova Scotia vessels routinely entered various American ports, but were required to contact the British Consul for that port. Nicholas Power, master of the Brig Alexander of Guysborough, NS was certified as complying with the necessary regulations, 25 July 1851.
