At a Special Session of Magistrates held on Friday the 6th of June instant, [held - crossed out] at the Office of [?W or Mr] Justice James in Bridgetown
Present

Robert H Bath, Joseph Wheelock
[?and] Edward [illegible] Randolph Esq[ui]re J. P.
Read the Report of Dr Johnston reporting Indians at Charles' Cove, Granville, infected the with Small Pox.
Resolved that Drs Johnston and Cockran to attend the said Indians, and [?offer to OR afford] them all necessary assistance and also take the necessary steps to prevent the spread of the disease.
Ordered that Joseph Wheelock Esqr. having declined to act as Health Warden, to which Office he had been appointed by the Court of Sessions, in consequence of his being the only one, to attend the said [?Indians] there, and see that the above Resolution is carried out.
[?Resolved] that Copy of the above be forwarded to His Excellency the Lieut. Governor.
