I leave to acknowledge receipt

to swear in [illegible] Patterson which was not needed
Judge [illegible] having the [?poorer] [ones] you [alluded]
& [when] sworn in [illegible] Patterson [whilst] hire _

The [?seven] pounds [illegible] by [illegible] [illegible]
[illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] agreeable to the wish
of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in
Blankets for each of the most needy of
the Indians and as [far] by [illegible] [illegible] [will] each
have been [?furnished] in as equitable a measure as
I could devise for them, and you have [illegible] a
