To His Excellency Sir Colin Campbell &c &c &c

May it please Your Excellency
We the undersigned observing
that the [?floor] [illegible] the House of Assembly
did during the last Session place at
the disposal of Your Excellency the
sum of One Hundred pounds for the
relief of the Indians of [this] province

Beg leave to draw the attention
of Your Excellency to the [wants] of
the [aborigines]
[of the County - written above so insert here]
recident [resident] in [this] section
of the Province. They have with
some assistance and much labour
[?by] [?themselves] erected in Merigomish
a House dedicated to the worship
of Almighty God _ [illegible] the [illegible]
are in great hopes that by the
judicious application of a Small
sum of money, furnished to the
Indians in the shape of Tools
Clothing [?&c OR &] placed in the hands of
some respectable Persons to be
distributed among the worthy
and deserving, that much good
