At [Esscasonik?], [Wagamatkock?] and Whykokomagh have been surveyed and part of the Settlement near the entrance of the Channel leading to St. Peter's - The expenses of the three first amount to £18,,12,,2 - The last may have cost about £4 and will require about £11 more to complete it, exceeding my estimate which was £30- about £4- I have therefore given directions to proceed no further without fresh instructions- There will still be another Indian Settlement which might require a surveyor to trace three or four outer Lines, but being part of a Peninsula shore lines cannot exceed 120 Chains __ However nothing more will be done in this matter until I am informed of His Excellency's pleasure concerning it-
I remain, with great regard
Dear Sir
yours sincerely
T. Crawley [?Esq]
