I have the honor to transmit
for the information of His Excellency the Lieut.
Governor fourteen petitions for Land with an
abstract; also a List of fifteen Tickets of
Location__ I beg you to inform His
Excellency that the Indians of the Village of
Whycocomak, consisting of ten families, situated
in the most western part of the Bras d'or having
made grievous complaints of the attempts of some
Scotch people to [seize] on their Lands, which
they have occupied and cultivated, [?often OR after] their
manner, more than forty years, I gave them
a Ticket of Location to secure their improvements
which extend from the shore
about one mile and half, nearly the distance
that Lots of two hundred acres for each family
