5 pages; a school essay by Howard Chapman, 16 January 1891. He wrote about the increase in the town's population, how pretty the surrounding area is and described the new "Pipe Shop" which has been added to the works. "To see the whole process through which the iron goes from the time it leaves the mine until it is rolled out into bard ready for the black-smith, is an interesting sight worth going a long distance to see and will not wear out with one visit."
