A History of Mining Activity in Nova Scotia, 1720-1992

"A Rescue Superintendent of a Pictou County coal mine." White (1874-1957) was responsible for the Acadia Coal Rescue Corps' fame in competitions for all North America. At the time of his death he was head of rescue corps for all DOSCO operations.
