Henry Poole (1808-1878), "General Manager of the General Mining Association, 1840-1854. at Albion Mines (Stellarton). He began his career with the GMA in Nova Scotia at Bridgeport, Cape Breton; came to Albion Mines in 1840; and was transferred to a new mine at Lingan, Cape Breton, in 1854.
