Collision investigation. Witnesses testify that two sailors "blue-jackets" were on the burning steamer when the explosion occurred, and probably lost their lives trying to save Halifax.
Dominion Government grants five million dollars for relief of Halifax Sufferers.
Dr. Shacknove, a Jewish physicion of Whitney Pier C.B, who did splendid service in Halifax since Dec. 6, suicided. Despondent over the suffering he witnessed.
Commercial Club passed a resolution of regret and sympathy for the loss of life in the disaster.
