Senior Officer of Escorts.,
Metropole Building
Halifax, N.S.

22nd April., 1918.

No. Z/3/3

Dear Sir,

With reference to your request for a list of recommendations, I regret to state that the supply of such a list would be contrary to Admiralty Regulations.

2. In view, however of the fact that the Albert Gold Medal has been posthumously awarded to Commander Triggs and the Silver Medal to the sole survivor of the boats [boat's] crew of "HIGHFLYER", there can be no objection to stating that both of these persons names were included in my list.

Yours truly,
[signed] B. M. Chambers
REAR-ADMIRAL
