As regard the publisher; Messrs. Eaton of Toronto
inform me that they do not now do any work of that kind.
I am in correspondence with Messrs. Badger of Boston, who
publish a large amount of medical material, but they will
not give an estimate until they have seen the completed
manuscript. I rather thing that Badger will undertake
it.
Dr. Hattie, who has gone to attend the annual
meeting of the Canadian Medical Society in Hamilton,
promised me that he would bring up the subject of a
recommendation being made from that congress to your
Committee in regard to the advisability of having this
medical history published; and Dr. McDougall promised
me to bring up a similar resolution at an early meeting
of the executive of the Halifax Medical Society. Up
to date, I have heard nothing of this. I shall myself
bring up the matter at teh annual meeting in Ottawa of
the Medical Council of Canada, which is to assemble on
June 11th.
With kind regards, I am,
Yours very truly,
D. Fraser Harris +
By D [C/G?] Linton

T. Sherman Rogers, Esq., KC.,
